Nella lezione di oggi, è stata affrontata una specifica tipologia di Sag' , prosa ritmata e rimata : Le Maqamat (tipologia simile a quella degli Avari). Le Maqamat (Capitolo 5 dell'Amaldi) sono caratterizzata da un narratore che narra le vicende di un eroe.
Uno degli autori principal è Handhani , che ricerca anche citazioni colte da altre Maqamat.
Abbiamo letto in classe la Maqamat Madiryya .
