In 900 the trend changes. Professor Mahdi creates a critical edition of the Arabian Nights, playing the 3 oldest manuscripts acquired Galland. The language is very different, it is an average Arab.
Sources: The original core is lost, even if you think the reason is of Indian origin. It enters the Arabic literature, enhanced further. We have two important passages of text: one in Iraq under the Abbasids and the other in Egypt under the Fatimids.
