THE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS

This is a text whose study is very controversial. E 'originated as sub-genre of popular type, but not play it deserved a more ennobling literary discussion. Prioritizing oral channel, this work, which includes several groups of stories, it is amplified over time.

Sources: The original core is lost, even if you think the reason is of Indian origin. It enters the Arabic literature, enhanced further. We have two important passages of text: one in Iraq under the Abbasids and the other in Egypt under the Fatimids.
